Baptism

Baptism marks the beginning of a deep and meaningful life-long relationship with Jesus Christ. It is considered to be the rite of initiation into the Christian faith and Church. Baptism is available to persons of any age. Many people bring their children to the font, demonstrating their commitment to nurturing them in the Christian faith, and in the life of the Christian community. Others come to Baptism at an older age, and are choosing to make that commitment for themselves. The celebration of Baptism is normally marked with the entire parish community in the context of regular Sunday worship, though provision can me made for private baptisms as well.
